QUOTE #3
Jesus Christ
Luke [21:1] As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. [2] He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. [3] “I tell you the truth,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. [4] All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
Quote #2
Robert W. Service:
Quote #1
“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.”

What a very true statement Barbara. I like this one. We all have our own pace with poetry. I am slowing down a lot. Many of the ones I post are ones I have written in the past! Havee a lovely day Barbara

You know what they say, ‘slow and steady wins the race’, Barbara. I love quotes, and you’ve kicked off with a brilliant one. I think Kipling showed the power of words in so few, beautifully.
Have a lovely weekend 🙂

If nothing else, Caz, quotes can show in mini-bytes who influenced a writer. Thank you for commenting. I appreciate you.

Quality is always worth the wait. I’m trying to get back to stories so my own output is slowing somewhat!

It’s worth it to a writer … and his reading public … to be as good as he/she can be. In my case, I need away time to crawl into mind, as it were. Glad to know I’m not alone.

I often find it so. It’s the small things that wear one out. We usually handle the big things better.

Thank you so very much. I’m trying to give myself time alone inside my head to create. As I get older it isn’t always that easy.

Oh my goodness, when did you do that? I sometimes don’t get online to get word of everything. I’m happy you like my poetry. Compared to some, I’m just a beginner, but I try.
